I moved across town today. I’ve had my succs packed for a week, all boxed nicely in flats I’d picked up at Costco. I had them on my east facing porch outside so they were still maximizing their sun exposure. It POURED the rain on Friday and some of them were soaked before I was home from work. I covered them, but, some the damage is already done.
.
I have them all on my now south facing balcony right against the building to hopefully dry out over the next couple of days as I unpack.
.
My dog climbed into one of the boxes and destroyed one of the plants that I’ve no idea what it was, but it came from a reject bin at Lowe’s and was finally growing curly/wavy pink tipped and somewhat tinted leaves. I hope it grows back and I can save it.
.
More importantly, I hope the plants dry out the next few days with some rocking sun exposure. Otherwise, it’s definitely a sad and sore day here in the Great North.
.
.
p.s. at least my string of bananas looks amazing
