(Pretty sure) I have thrips infestation on all (or almost all) of my plant collection. NEED ADVICE!

Post Body

So I have a collection of 30-40 plants. Maybe a couple weeks ago I discovered that the little bugs I was seeing was a pest called thrips (you can check my account for pictures! Please confirm or inform me otherwise.) Basically, I think I must have had them for a while now; I just didn’t know what they were.

But there is damage to my plant leaves, some leaves are turning yellow, and they’re even on my four basil plants, which I didn’t even think they liked!

I have armed myself with neem oil, blue sticky catchers, hydrogen peroxide, and soapy water so far. I tried Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Brew on a couple of leaves, but I heard that they can sometimes kill a plant, and those leaves do not seem to be doing well (like some yellowing), but they’re not dead per se. I’m not sure if that’s because I sprayed it on growth that was already yellowing or weak though.

I have diatomaceous earth, Bonide systemic, and mosquito bits, but I have not used those yet. I haven’t really used Captain Jack’s enough to know either.

It’s also time for me to repot my plants since it’s been a year. What should I do?

Should I:

1) Repot all my plants, then treat with systemic 2) Treat with systemic, then repot all my plants 3) Not use systemic at all (I hear it can be bad?) 4) Something else?

Also, what should I use or do for the basil? I plan on eating the leaves eventually, so something natural for those.

Thank you in advance!
