HELP WITH REMOTE TURN ON WIRE

Hey guys I am trying to set up an AMP and I require a turn on wire. I am using the stock head unit and I don’t have access to it. Could I tap into the cigarette lighter? Because essentially the car only gives power to the lighter when it is on. What do you guys recommend? Or is there another subreddit where I could get help?
