Hello all,
I’ve been employed at my Subway for several months, receiving $14/hr. However, while working, I can’t help but notice the giant window poster advertising a pay of $14.50/hr at my location. This poster was put up just over a month ago. I’ve raised this concern with my GM, but she doesn’t seem to care, having entertained the idea of a raise for months.
What is the best approach here? Should I take this concern up the chain of command? Am I even within my rights to complain about this if the starting pay was adjusted sometime after I was hired? I’m not interested in quitting just yet (believe me, there are worse things at this store that justify that), but I would love to get paid the advertised amount in my last few months here.
Thanks.
