Every 50 years, the big red moon/planet in the sky draws closer to planet 4546B, causing a heat wave lasting months. The heat brings massive reefbacks from the void, miles long. These reefbacks bring their ecosystem with them, creating a new map. I don't have all the ideas down, but this would be cool for a new map and would definitely be different from the other games. There could also be a mode were you start on a different reefback everytime, creating a procedurally generated map. You wouldn't be able to stay out of the water, or you will slowly burn and loose health. Heat waves can also happen where special items and materials can be found on land, similar to storm crystals in No Man's Sky. What's your guy's thoughts?
