TL;DR - just give me the developer-approved method of pacifying the ship so I can move on from this terribly-designed chapter.
It's buggy as fck, you can get stuck trying to swim through holes a truck forklift could drive through, there are no visual cues, the shaking is annoying, the visibility is poor, and it's guarded by giant water-grick because fuck you. I don't have the patience to figure out how the developers "want" me to approach the ship, as though a real person couldn't enter from any direction they damn well pleased through the gaping holes in the hull.
So give it to me simply. Is there an entrance at the back hidden in the murk? Am I supposed to find a magic entrance at the front? Somewhere on the side, perhaps revealed by the light of the moon on Durin's day or some shit? I don't care, I shouldn't need a web forum to enter a crashed ship that's open from every direction.
Edit: Since literally nobody gave a full serviceable answer, even those who were polite and well-meaning, here's the actual answer to my question:
You enter from the front of the Aurora, and go to the surface on the right(starboard) side. Once you've permanently grounded your Seamoth on the poorly-designed terrain, hop out and try to get as high as possible(heh). The crabs and crates outside aren't worth dealing with, but you do you. At the top there will be a big-ass fire and you'll be asking yourself, "Am I supposed to put this out?" No, you aren't. look to your right, there's a spur you can walk on because the game suddenly decided fuck open worlds, we're now a railroaded-platformer. Follow that and you'll soon come to a door filled with fire which is the entrance to the Aurora. Hope you brought about 5 fire extinguishers because if not you may as well go back to base now lol loser. Obviously you've already learned about diving to 500m in the middle of fucking nowhere to gain diamonds, so I'm sure you have your laser cutter. Anyway, once that's out of the way it's pretty much like 3 boring rooms of bullshit and you'll be disappointed you even bothered. Make sure you scan the Prawn suit. I'm sure at some point in the future you're completely fucked if you don't notice it.
