How to be more obedient to my Sir?

So me and my Sir are a 24/7 dynamic. Which in its own is great! He handles everything including all finances. He also has given me some rules to follow and some goals to make me better due to a laundry list of issues starting from childhood. My problem is I feel like I'm more of a brat than sub and I hate upsetting him. I wanna be a good girl so that we can move on to harder rules and someday go to a dungeon. How do I get more obedient so he knows I really am his good girl?
