The Power of Trust
Post Body

The idea of trust is a foundation in the BDSM world. I read posts all the time about the need for it, the lack of it or the importance of it. But I don't know if we emphasize the power of it enough. A week ago Sir and I had what I consider to be one of our most intense scenes to date. Most of the scene my eyes were covered and I was bound, no control to stop anything beyond the use of my words. During a couple of points, he asked if I trusted him. The answer...of course I do. He's spent a lot of time building that trust, carefully pulling me out of my comfort zone, checking in and allowing me to see just what goes on inside his fantasies sometimes. It was a couple of days later that I realized the significance of it. My trust in him has opened up the door to so many new experiences and ideas. It has given me permission to explore my own pleasure and joy of being a sub all while getting the opportunity to make him happy and give him what he wants most. The scene was great fun and we tried some new things. I was nervous and scared of the unknown at times but my absolute trust in my Dom allowed me to feel safe, not just physically but mentally too. I look forward to another scene where I can show him exactly how much I appreciate him and how important pleasing him is to me. I hope that his trust in me, as his sub, will keep us pushing our limits and having fun.
