possibly dumb question from a queer guy newbie: how do I signal to Doms that I am a sub?

I’m a tall athletic guy. I am a sexually a bottom, only attracted to tops who will dominate me in bed.

But I seem to attract bottoms who read me as being a top—due to behavior, build etc

I’ve been learning more about D/s and understanding myself as a submissive. But I’ve been wondering how I can signal/communicate to Doms I may encounter that I am, in fact a submissive?

Hope this isn’t too dumb a question. And hope there’s someone who might be able help?
