Little background. Own a 2013 Subaru Impreza 85,000 miles. 2 recalls (brake light switch and valve spring both are scheduled for repair on 8-14-19)

So driving home to Salt Lake along the Salt Flats my dash board lit up like crazy. The following lights are what came one

Traction control icon - staying on Cruise Control icon - blinking ABS letters - staying on Silhouette of a car on an incline - staying on Check engine light - staying on At oil temp light - blinking

Called a Subaru dealer and they said the top four lights have to do with the brake light switch recall Then said the check engine light with at oil temp flashing has to do with the transmission. Also said as long as the check engine light is staying on I'm still good to drive it but need to get it into service soon.

So reddit I ask has anyone experienced this as well? What did the transmission issue seem to be?
