I got her at 98k and she’s at 139k now. Never had any injector or engine issues previously, this winter she started purring real loud and sometimes makes her own electrical noises behind the dash. All of which come and go mostly when I begin driving.

Not in a position to spend much on repairs as I’m a college graduate but need some help diagnosing the issues.

At the moment this is the prognosis:

Oil light comes on occasionally With a faster oil burn rate than when it was lower on mileage Fuel efficiency hasn’t changed On start up she roars like a lion and purrs like a cat like the cases of piston slap While driving occasionally she makes the same sound but only when it is cold or I get right off the highway

When I changed the oil last I was a hair short of the 5.1 qrts needed to fill her up at max but the dip stick reads that she’s good.
