MRSP vs Dealer Invoice

Post Body

About to buy my first Subaru . I see from the posts here some people are paying MSRP and even above . MSRP is what the Dealer wishes for . I have bought a lot of cars and trucks and I always pay Dealer Invoice .On a Subaru that's avg of about 3K less . I have inquired on line and I have 3 offers of out the door final costs . The only thing left to negotiate is the add on dealer fees . To me 699. Doc fee is BS . Anyway this is the way I taught my sons to get the best deal and the way I do . Having to get it it from a high volume dealer causes a little travel . In case you didn't know Dealers get a kickback on each car sold and the percentage increases at various levels of volume sold . Dealer Invoice is based on if they only sold 1 per year . Just FYI and hoes this helps
