There is an emerging tendency for figures on the left to abandon criticism of prominent, propagandised, narratives to much more transgressive right wing figures which is enabling the right to capture popularity by opposing state backed lies. There are precious few left commentators who are outspoken on certain issues despite very obvious marxist/gramscian critiques to be made, yet there are loads on the right. As a result, most of the energy and discussion is captured by right wing morons.

Some topics have carried a risk of making someone un-personed online(trains, ukraine war, covid) and have been abandonned by the left. Is there more to it than the negative aesthetics involved in discussing them? Specifically, in the last few years, I am talking about;

• Covid and the hysterical, dishonest, ineffective, government responses (masks do nothing,masks protect you, masks help stop the spread, ivermectin/Chloroquine/Hydroxychloroquine don'tdo have valid therapuetic uses, vaccines don't grant immunity like was touted, the virus poses enormous minimal risk to the young, fit, and healthy, the virus was a chinese batsoup lab leak, impossible 0-covid with schizophrenic and ineffective lockdown responses, etc.) (rip Guccimane).

• Incredibly, some of the most prominent anti-ukraine war and anti-palestine war voices in the media are the likes of Andrew Tate, Tucker Carlsen, Joe Rogan, Mearsheimer, etc.. They capture this energy while many prominent figures on the left refuse to have a robust stance on these issues (the war in Ukraine at least. Whats noticeable is right wingers appear more willing to oppose the Israelis than the left is to oppose NATO expansionism). Granted the first three are prone to bouts of utter delusion, but they have a willingness to loudly oppose propagandised narratives that is increasingly rare on the left and they do appear to have a level of objective analysis that lets them see past state propaganda on many issues. What is it that disciplines the left in this instance and leaves opposition to the interests of state, to figures like Trump and Farage? Time looks like proving them correct, so why won't the left seize the opportunity?

• The trains movement and it's patently false claims. There are almost no leftist figures who will loudly say what everyone is thinking here. No further discussion around this specific topic is required.

• Criticisms of many media products (Rings of power, Star wars, disney IP in general, gamergate bs, all IDpol media produced by megacorps) is always right-coded. Visit any normie sub where they ban most critical discussion of these topics and those who engage in it. Why is it that criticisms of these things are always right-coded? Despite the fact that these are blatant ideological vehicles of the ruling class as they are produced by the largest media companies in history (Amazon, Activision-Blizzard, Disney) and shoe-horn in a moral relativism that is extremely damaging to the products themselves and often destroys verisimilitude entirely. (Recent revelations about Disney's illegal IDpol hiring practices as well as a noticeable strain of Dolezolism across society that appears to be, in part, driving the IDpol/trains thing.)

• There are many other analogues in various state's domestic politics like the unwillingness of the left to have a reasoned pragmatic policy to things like immigration, the EU, or an aversion to the functions of a nation state generally (specifically thinking about France and the rise of the right. Mbappe, the french football team captain and political ally of Macron, says this must be opposed, while nearly all the french players are of African descent yet the supporters in the stands are almost all white. The left and liberals have no response to this jarring reality so it is captured by the right. A bigger discussion around what it means to be a subject of a nation state is required yet the left refuses to have any messaging here).

What is it about the prominent figures of the modern left that prevents them from criticizing the propagandised, false, strategic narratives of state, and specifically those capitalist interests the state serves? Does the left's lack of transgressive messaging not make inevitable, that once state propaganda fails, power will default to figures on the right who provided the vast majority of contemporaneous counter-narratives?
