I guess this isn't really on topic but why can't the US navy keep the Red Sea open and not under constant attack? Shipping Lanes are actually kind of important and are key to US dominance.
Obviously the Houthis have a surprisingly access to missles/drones and the South Yemen(?) Cave system seems to be designed to protect people from aircraft but the US navy is just massive.
It's a far lower commitment to use air strikes. The US navy already polices piracy pretty much everywhere else so a massed attack would stretch them thin elsewhere.
