Greetings!
I am about to graduate and finish my final year of a STEM student in Senior High School — up to this point I've been only a happy-go-lucky person, I study this because it's what's available for me, I did this because it's fun, etc.
I never really had a chance to think on what do I want to do in college, nor do I have any idea on how does college really works. Long story short, now that I gave time on my goal and plans for the future, I'm still dead from the neck up on which college should I choose and what course should I go for. I already did some of my research and a lot of my peers and older relatives recommended for me to enter or apply for a Double Major, basing from what they heard from me when I explained to them what do I want to do in the near future... BIG question on my mind right now is, how does Double Majoring works? I can't ask those people who had recommended me this question because I already feel so shy on asking them multiple and repetitive questions.
How do you apply for a Double Major? How does having a Major and Minor works? Do you let the university know that you want to do a Major and Minor or Double Major, or is it already there and you just have to choose it from the admission papers?
Posting this with deep gratitude for the people who would take time to help me out with my questions :)
P.S.
Pandemic's been tough lately,
Stay safe everyone~
