Why do teachers employ video-making projects kahit walang relate sa subject nila?

Short rant, so I'm currently a Grade 12 student from a fairly unknown school and mygod both years ko sa SHS got ruined by these video projects. Like virtually every subject namin at least isa nirequire kami magpasa ng video for either PT, WW ,and even Final Exams. Some of the projects are so unnecessary they could've just been a word file. I have really high grades but sometimes napapaisip nalang akong hindi magpasa for my mental health.
Kayo what are your thoughts on video-making projects? Do you enjoy them or do you feel the same way as I am?
