Focal seizures

It’s happened 3 times the last time was this evening but pretty much what happens is my left hand goes numb since the stroke was on the right side of my brain in the motor cortex but anyways my thumb starts to twitch my throat closes but my brother used to date a nurse and she says that seizures like this are a good sign of things firing in the effected part of the brain has anyone else had anything like this happen to them?
