Work/life balance issues

My wife works 3 shifts a week 6-1am. Between kids and my 9-5 job, we have significantly less quality time together. It’s been a difficult adjustment. I know other couples work opposite shifts - this isn’t unique to the stripping profession - but it is a bit different. Does anyone else experience missing your partner? How do you make it work?
