Rhinestones falling off bikini sets 😫

I’ve noticed that the rhinestones have been falling off the thong, but not the top. It’s been happening to all these sets. Do you guys have any recommendations for how to get them to stay? I hand wash my dancer outfits.
I was thinking on going to Michael’s and buying small rhinestones like that and just using a hot glue gun but I don’t know if they will stick that way 🧐
