I’ve been dancing for a year, and in honor of that I want to share some tips. Not everything is going to be for everyone, but these are all things I’ve been complimented on and I believe have contributed to money✨
vanilla scents (men are partial to vanilla). Best one (over-hyped for a reason) is the Phlur Vanilla Skin body spray. Not the perfume. Can get it at Sephora
red. Red lips, nails, outfits. Obviously this is person-dependent but same thing as vanilla it’s a psychology trick- men are attracted to red. Also a healthy amount of blush for same reason (flush=youth)
shorter heels if you’re taller as some men don’t like when women are taller than them. Not every night needs to be an 8 inch heel night. Also sizing UP in heels if you’re between sizes buying the ones with straps so your toes don’t slide helps prevent any sore feet. My feet no longer hurt after work
natural hair. Men love naturally curly hair and I can’t tell you the amount of dances I’ve gotten just off my hair
saying hi/talking to people right before I go on stage. Sometimes I will literally hear my name one song away and go to whoever is sitting closest to that stage (NOT AT THE TIP RAIL) and talk to them and tell them to come see meee😇
body lotion after every shower. Not crazy amounts if it’s before work obvi. Was so afraid to use lotion before lmao but honestly it keeps your skin in check from irritation and keeps it soft. I like pipette baby lotion they have a few scented ones and it’s cheap, not heavy, and non-toxic, you can get it at Target
best natural deodorant that actually works is the Shiva Rose Agent Nateur collab, the rose scented one. Yes it’s expensive. But it actually works and lasts and smells like roses🌹
Cicaplast baume b5 reduces any irritation such as butt acne from dirty clubs, shaving irritations, bug bites. Keeps the area moisturized to prevent hyperpigmentation
and lastly pretending to be drunker than I actually am😂❤️🔥
EDIT: re the lotion, you should apply lotion right after like within 5 minutes of getting out of a shower for your skin barrier. This will also help with your skin absorbing it easily. And use only watery lotions so it actually absorbs before you get on a pole so it’s not dangerous. Don’t be the girl putting lotion on in the locker room before you climb a pole✨
