noticed a lot of people upset about like the glamorization of this job online and like while yeah i guess it is a little true. i genuinely have a lot of appreciation for some of the girls that are joining the stripper community. i was one of them! right before i graduated college i decided to dance after i went into a club on my 21st birthday it looked like so much fun!
a lot of the girls i been meeting recently are educated and using this as a second job along with their career too! and i think that is perfectly fine especially if they already have their "real" (societally acceptable) career i see no harm in wanting to become a dancer! sure let's not encourage children to be strippers but adults can make their own decisions!
and a lot of the "baby strippers" having a genuine interest to make a lot of money or extra money on the side of their day job is a good work ethic in my eyes. i think that doing so is amazing and fully support that, i HATE the notion that this is a job that women go into when they have "nothing left" or "no other option" and we SHOULDNT as current or new dancers be shaming anyone who turns 18/21 and wants to join the community bc that only perpetuates that stereotype.
and trust the amount of trustfund, educated, PHD or Masters holders i've met in this industry. i know for a fact some people just have a passion for this business and that's OK. don't shame another bc you felt like YOU had no other option.
on another note this job isn't easy and my advice to those considering dancing is to have at least one therapist! and stay away from the substances and alcohol (easy for me to say i literally hate alcohol and drugs to my core)
personally i have one therapist for stripping/my day job and a second therapist for life's burdens. i go twice a week and it's amazing ππ
ANYWAYS i love the newer girls who are joining the club to just have fun and want to make a living or have some fun money! they are nice refreshing and i enjoy and welcome them with open arms. πͺ¬π§Ώπ©΅
