As someone who's danced for 9/10 years I've seen the good, bad, & ugly

I've tried to remain open minded and versatile of the changes in the industry. I just think I've genuinely have had enough

I've changed places & spaces of where I've worked.. changed/adapted aesthetically, marketing business courses to help be savvier on the floor, dance classes ECT. I just think there comes a time where no matter what you do, the reality is our industry is dying.

There are so many who have the honey moon phase of being in the industry on their side~ typically those dancing for 3 years or less. So I think it's easier for those ladies to say "keep trying" in many different ways.

Also there's the obvious benefit of working in a city or near a major city that can typically translate to more revenue business. Which averages out more in your favor as far as $$ goes.

But honestly this has got to be the toughest year mentally, emotionally, & financially in this industry. The nights progress into the late hours / early mornings & I see the clubs pile in with freeloaders, cheap fucks, or guys paying for pussy. No shade to extra/full service providers ~ I'm just stating that there was a time where there was money for both full service girls girls who were strictly dancers/entertainers.

& In my own personal development there really is nothing appealing to being drunk/or on other substances - sometimes it seems like people wouldn't even be in the club if it weren't for it aligning with their lifestyle. Getting fucked up isn't fun anymore, but that's just my take on that.

I feel for my fellow veteran dancers. I see you & hear you. I see my fellow girls in the clubs who have been just venting about these same standpoints. I see them struggle to keep the motivation & will to continue being in the industry. Your feelings are valid & I commend you for seeing shit without rose colored lenses on.
