Tip to make shoes more comfortable

Post Body

I’m having the hardest time finding a style of shoe that actually feels comfortable… I started with closed toe boots which felt amazing in terms of stability but my toes are being crushed so bad even with squishy inserts stuffed into the toe box. I then moved onto open toe sandals w an ankle strap and my toes either spill out in a god awful way or they torture me by rubbing where the opening is and i get blisters on my toes :// how can i go about making my shoes more comfortable and preventing my feel from sliding forward?
