Long story short, a guy in my friend group found out I danced and then started a big campaign to stalk me. He is a van lifer and slept in front of my house in his van for two weeks.

My friend group shunned him completely- when he was told to stop but didn’t. he only stopped his campaign to sleep in front of my house after my friends literally dropped him cold turkey from our life. However he is chummy with the club management. Yesterday my manager told me I was mentally ill and should step down from dancing if I felt like this dude was a threat. And that I should have went to polite if it -really- was that serious. I didn’t report him because I don’t know his last name at the time and didn’t want to escalate the situation.

So pretty much, I either leave my job or keep this stalker around in the club.

Just a reminder to girls that this job isn’t safe. If you’re in a club that protects you you are unbelievably lucky. And to be so so careful who you tell what you do. Your friends may turn out to be creeps. You never know.
