In the last decade of dancing/sex work in general I’ve never dealt with sharky/desperate dirty hustle behavior from coworkers… if I was at a club and the vibe was bad and coworkers were hostile I’d just find another club to work at where I fit in better, because my mentality is that there’s always a way to make money and you don’t have to be miserable while you do it! Life’s to short! ….. well, up until now that is.

Long story short: the club that I’m working at (which has been for the most part, such a great environment with supportive, girls-girls coworkers who HELP each other make money ) has had a major shift lately. They hired some new girls who’ve teamed up and they are some desperate, thirsty doing to much sharks who apparently, are allowed to do whatever they want including coming up to clients im speaking with and starting to massage them/sit in their laps/ make out with each other / give dances to clients who are sitting at the stage to take the attention away from me, and other girls who happen to be talking with a client.

Management, who has always kept the nonsense to a nonexistent level and tried to keep it fair for everyone has truly given the sharks a green light to do whatever, but myself abd the other girls whose been here for a while still are being expected to uphold the same common sense standards of behavior that we always have. Any very valid complaints I’ve had made to management have only gotten me gaslit,and ignored and unresolved. Its favoritism, it’s super unfair and also… I’ve tried to just stand up for myself in the moment when they are trying to shark my clients but was told I WAS OUT OF LINE for calmly saying “ ew, that’s so desperate of her it’s really sad”

this club is the only realistic option for me as I’m in an extremely rural area and can’t travel until I get myself a truck so I can tow the travel trailer I live in, along with my cats And take my life with me. I would have already been long gone if I was able to but I’m sorta forced at this moment to deal with it but I’m not sure how?
