Like bro what is your problem?
Why did you come here?
I’m feeling hot, I’m feeling sexy, I’m feeling myself… I’m trying to turn up/have a good time… I’m trying to maintain a positive attitude to ensure that I have a good (happy, prosperous) night…
And the customers just completely fucking kill my whole entire vibe with their freaking BAGGAGE & BULLSHIT.
I thought these clubs were supposed to be about fantasy, and escapism.
I see & hear so much negative dialogue, dumb-ass questions, their stiff & uncomfortable body language, I’m like damn.
As entertainers we give SO much of ourselves.
To these mean, dumpy, boring, grumpy, raggedy men.
Like I just cannot stand them sometimes, like, FUCKK!
I’m a very sweet and bubbly, empathetic person… I give people compliments, I uplift people. And I feel like they’re giving very little back.
Or like, even if they don’t say something overtly rude — it’s more passive-aggressive. Like they just seem a little … skeptical, and standoffish.
It gets very annoying sometimes, to always be expected to look flawless all the time and to always be the life of the party and to always give my best on stage and to always be in a good mood and to always carry a professional demeanor and to always provide stimulating conversation to people, who do LITERALLY nothing in return.
Like, damn, at least give me a few dollars for my effort! At this point. It’s like the LEAST THEY COULD DO, honestly.
😤😤😤🤬
For the amount we go through, we do not get paid enough in this profession
