I have a lot of scars, all over my legs. On both of my legs.
and then my knees are really dark and bruised-up looking, also.
(I am a melanin-ated woman, by the way). š
does this matter? I mean, you knowā¦ do guys really care about this? and just in general, does it matter?
i have never really had a customer ever complain about it. itās super dark in there, I mean the club lighting is very forgiving, so that helpsā¦
I will also say, that i have been doing my OnlyFans since 2020, and my subscribers have never complained about my imperfections. they did not say anything about my scars, not that i recallā¦ since i started 4 years ago.
i think Iām actually more insecure about it outside the club (in regular, ācivilianā life) than I am inside the club. If that makes senseā¦
i guess what iām asking is, how do you guys cope with this/handle this? i find myself wearing pants a lot, in public, i mean letās be real Iām 29 years oldā¦ Sometimes itās for modesty. It may be comfortable to have more coverage, depending on where youāre goingā¦ But really, one of the main reasons is because I am self-conscious about the appearance of my legs.
I kind of feel like you have to have an IDGAF attitude. I mean, itās your life. You have to live for yourself, not for other people. So, if itās hot outside and you want to wear dresses and skirts, rompers, and shortsā¦ i think you should be able to. You should be free to wear bikinis at the beach and feel confident.
But at the same time, I also kind of feel like, it is also okay if I have some days where I want to āhide those problem areas,ā especially if I am just feeling more ābummyā that day.
Does that make sense?
I also feel like the camera quality on these smartphones/iPhones these days is soooooooo insane, and so that makes these images soooooooo unforgiving!!
I know they have products out there like Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs or whatever, but honestly I would probably only do that MAYBE for like a photoshoot or something; I probably wouldnāt apply it for dancing. Itās not very practical. For example, I wouldnāt want it to transfer onto clients while giving a dance, and I also wouldnāt want my skin to be greasy if I plan on climbing the pole/attempting any pole tricksā¦ I also feel like thatās just ONE more step, to add to my already SUPER LONG getting ready routine. Not to mention, I wouldnāt want it to stain white or light clothing.
Some people recommend garments such as thigh-high socks, fishnets, stockings, or thigh-high boots, bodystockings, etc., things that provide more coverage to the lower body and legs. Which I think is a lot more practical & smartā¦
Boots are super sexy/erotic, and they not only conceal the lower legs, but they also offer the benefit of protecting the legs and knees at the same timeā¦ Boots are also typically a lot more comfortable, and they provide ankle support. Downsides could be: that they get in the way, or also tag the inside of the material does tend to sweat.
I am more of a classic Pleasers kind of girl; I typically prefer the ankle strap platform sandals or a slip-on mule style.
But I think i am going to make the switch to tall boots soon because I do a lot of floor work and twerking and acrobatics, and just feel soo bad that I am just tearing up my body over the yearsā¦ for a couple dollars. Sad. Boots will help me to prevent more damage. So for a number of reasons, boots a very smart idea. They also help you to learn certain pole tricks and spinsā¦
You only get ONE BODY and I just wonder what this type of lifestyle is going to do to my knees, in the long runā¦
Anyone else insecure about dark knees, and dark marks/scars on the legs?
Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Just needed to vent a little hereā¦
