i’m sorry but why do they think it is okay to pay admission, come in, observe my topless/nude body while i am working up a sweat/high-energy/performing, stop & stare, not tip, sit for awhile, and then leave?
i am really trying to be strong & stay positive, but yeah
not cool
it is not fair
i expect to be compensated when i dance.
i take this as a personal insult. am i fugly? did I not do a good job? they just weren’t feeling me for some reason? they just didn’t have money? they were too lazy to get up to tip?
i don’t know what’s wrong. i felt i looked good, i smelled good, i danced good, and i had good energy!
really frustrating.
it’s hard to come back from that. but i tried to just shake it off, and not let it bother me for the rest of my shift…
it’s disrespectful. they shouldn’t be allowed to just sit there long and observe my naked body for free.
but, so it goes... 🙇🏽♀️
LADIES: How do you deal with not getting tipped on stage set(s)?
