LA is a REALLY hard city to dance in. I feel like if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. Because, man, is it ROUGH.
Especially for people of color, such as myself
Background: In the past, I have worked in LA, Oxnard, City of Industry, Anaheim, San Francisco, Michigan…
Currently I am in LA. I already have a “home club” that I work at where I am comfy & established…
but I want to bring a few more into my rotation
I have always worked in gentlemen’s clubs: right now I where I work is fully nude, but in the past, I have worked at topless clubs as well.
I’m not into doing extras. I’m a freak, don’t get me wrong, but I like to keep it clean and professional. The most I will really do is use my vibrator a little, or give the occasional handjob. Not really my thing. I am very much into performing on stage, and teasing guys in lap dances. I have no problem going full nude, but yeah. Not interested in extras, sex, private parties, or meetups… 🙅🏽♀️
Here’s what I know:
• Deja Vu on Hollywood & Vine has finally reopened
• The Body Shop has recently reopened
• Imperial Showgirls North Hills has remodeled & is currently hiring (formerly known as Odd Ball Cabaret)
I heard mixed things about Cheetah’s: sometimes there is money there. It’s a sections club. The thing is, I heard they tape the girls’ auditions and put them out on social media which is humiliating/unethical/sleazy imo. Also I heard they have a house-fee of $200 that is expected from you, even if you didn’t make any money that night. So that is a dealbreaker for me.
According to the Dancer’s Resource App, it says that Rio is an extras club.
I didn’t like my impression of Red Tie, very rude and unprofessional female manager, they will waste your time, and not very welcoming to black or mixed girls, based on my experience auditioning for them… the rinky dink pole is not attached at the top, so the pole is short and wobbly, with no ceiling.
🤬 I would NEVER work at Synn Industry, for a number of reasons. Horrible, horrible, horrible place & a lot of horrible people in it. You literally couldn’t pay me to go back there. Traumatizing. On so many levels… 🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️
I heard good things about The Library, Blue Zebra…
What is the deal with Spearmint Rhino DTLA or Van Nuys? Any info? I don’t really know anything about these clubs, I am curious… Are they crowded/hard to get into?
If anybody else has any other leads and tips, please do let me know.
I really appreciate it…
