Ok, "vet" is in quotes because I consider a vet or og someone whose been dancing for 8-10 years or like 5 consistently in a major city and I'm an off and on girl (often off, big breaks) over the course of the last decade.
Annnyyways. Every time I start at a new club that I'm going to stay at for a minute, I have random ass stage anxiety for weeks I do a fine enough stage set. It's nothing special, but the customers dig it. I just... can't seem to actually go on stage at a new home club until I've watched for weeks. When I'm travel dancing I hop right up there, no problems.
I don't really need advice, I'm just curious if this happens to anyone else? What is this? Am I just nervous about being judged by the dancers at my new home club(s)?
I ended up with decent take home for a day shift, no stage required today. And on a Sunday. So I'm going to just let her ride until I'm feeling it. Only cost me 10 to bribe the DJ, when usually a skip is like $80

Omg, the anxiety over how much pole vs floor to do, what kinds of twerks, how sexy vs artsy to go on stage... it makes me want to stress vom.
