So I called in at 2001 odyssey to see if they were hiring over the phone and they said they were, I walked in and asked to speak with the manager and a lady walked out and I asked “are you the manager” she said yes and I asked her politely if they were doing auditions and she started being condescending saying “well we don’t have to hire you, we’re not hiring” Well the fuck?obviously not?why are you putting words in my mouth? I simply asked if they were doing auditions. I immediately knew that she was trying to get a reaction out of me by saying that and I told her “of course not” and understood at that point that they weren’t going to hire me and I walked out. I wasn’t about to give her the reaction she wanted. I felt like she wanted me to get upset and start arguing with her and I didn’t. There was no reason for her to get like that with me I was polite the entire time, I understand that maybe they get a lot of girls that try to argue when they are being told no but I didn’t, that attitude was unnecessary and petty as fuck.
