I’m about to hit my one year mark as a dancer, so I’m a still a baby $tripper and learning the hustle. I have observed that the top earners at my club are typically making the most because they have a consistent regular base. I have some basic ideas of ways I can build regulars that I will share below, but am hoping that some other dancers can comment their advice! Here is what I’ve gathered so far on getting regulars:
- sticking to a schedule, working the same days each week, and making customers aware of your schedule. asking them to come see you on those days.
- giving them a dancer insta or burner number to text them to come see you (question: should I also text them a bit about their real life too? I would love some advice on how to communicate with regulars over messages, how often and for how long I should be messaging them, etc. any advice on this helps)
- and the most obvious, connecting with the customer, establishing a bond when you spend time together at the club, providing experiences they like, remembering details about their life.
what are some other suggestions you would recommend on the subject of getting & maintaining retailers?
Are you working Dayshift? Because the top earners at my club focus on out of towners and work nights. Regulars can be so entitled, cheap, and mentally draining. One of the reasons I stopped working days and switched to nights. New faces are more generous, fun, and easy to deal with in my experience.
