I am a lazy dancer who does very little on stage. I’m looking to improve my flexibility so I can do more sitting/lying down poses. I’m 27 and have never been naturally flexible. I’m now currently stretching every day and making a small amount of progress — but when I go to work I’m always reminded of how far I still have to go when I see girls effortlessly contorting themselves into the positions I’m nowhere close to reaching. Unflexible women who have achieved their splits and other poses, do y’all have any advice? I feel like the muscles in the backs of my legs/knees are unnaturally stiff. I think it would really help my stage presence if I could do a bit more without overexerting myself.
