I've heard that sex workers are uncannily good at predicting economic downturns because our services are both a luxury and discretionary to how much customers want to spend. When money is tight, we get paid less or have to hustle more for less money. Generally when times are good, people are more comfortable making it rain/buying VIPs/ etc.
SWs who have been in the industry for more than a year, ave y'all noticed trends like this? Do you think we're headed for another recession based on recent income numbers? OR do you think the stripper index isn't real/reliable?
