I know this industry has its ups and downs, but damn. I haven’t even bothered to count my money, I know I made less than $80. I already didn’t want to go in, but we are employees, so we have a set schedule. I knew it would be super slow, but I changed my attitude and tried to stay positive. We had the mumbling DJ, so I was so confused the whole night and couldn’t hear my name being called. Hardly any customers, and the ones that were there were cheap asf. The whole time I was there, a maximum of 5 dances were sold, most of them being the cheapest option. I wanted to go home but couldn’t, I had to stay my whole shift since I’m an employee. One guy tipped my stage because he said he felt bad, because I was trying really hard. Idk about anyone else but pity money is so humiliating to me. Some idiot(s) used lotion too. The pole was slippery asf, so I hardly got to do any tricks, I just stayed on the ground the whole time. Not that it mattered, since hardly anyone was there or tipping, but still. I got so mad, I went to McDonald’s and got 40 chicken nuggets. Even the guy at the drive thru was like 40?! Yes sir, I want 40. I’m supposed to be saving money and staying healthy, but idec. The nuggets ended up being stale or something, just a wonderful addition to a horrible night. Just wanted to rant, lol
Edit: The nuggets must have been bad. Been sick in the bathroom all morning. At least it’s only up from here 😩
