does anyone ever feel bad for some of these customers? not the ones just coming in for a good time with their friends and whatnot, the super desperate and lonely guys who spend insane amounts of money just for attention from us. it’s not that i feel bad taking their money or anything, it’s just that sometimes i look in their eyes and see this hollow and empty look and i can’t help but feel sad for them. im just wondering if this is a somewhat common feeling because the other night this guy was paying me really well to just sit and watch him gamble on the slots (we have machines in our club) and as i’m sitting there watching him for a couple hours i was just thinking like damn he’s just spent 2k between the slots and myself just like that and barely cracked a smile. but i could just be looking too deep into it tho hahahha lmk what y’all think
