I’ve danced for years and personally just never felt comfortable dancing for couples. I can entertain single men one-on-one with no problems, but couples give me anxiety. I’ll rarely even accept doubles with another dancer — as I’ve had bad experiences with both. I always feel bad explaining this to female customers when they ask me to go back together with their husbands, but it’s easier to be honest with them and myself that it’s just not something I enjoy. Customers and other dancers are always surprised when I tell them this. Might be willing to go more into detail on the bad experiences if people are interested lol
I don't mind couples, but once I see that the woman is acting insecure or jealous about her husband or boyfriend looking at me I back off. Had a wife get upset because her husband told her to tip me.
