Question about Stripe Connect

Post Body
I'm building a platform for creators to sell digital products, and I noticed 2 kinds of similar platforms:
- Gumroad, where they're the Merchant of Record -- they take payments into their own account, handle taxes, disburse payments to their users later, and they handle all refunds, chargebacks, and take on all legal and financial liabilities.
- Podia, where they merely allow users to connect their own Stripe accounts, and the user handles everything from their own Stripe dashboard.
I'm looking into doing 2, I don't want to be anyone's Merchant of Record.
Does that mean I'm free and clear, if my user violate's Stripe policies?
Say they start selling porn or marijuana-related products.
Will Stripe just suspend them, or will they also suspend me for being their Stripe Connect partner?
