Hi! So I'm s stay at home parent who wants to start a brand that's for parents and babies, mostly embroidered and quilted pieces. I'm not sure if it would fall under streetwear, but you guys have a very lovely and active community and i think you can help or at least suggest where i can ask these questions.

I'm pretty set on designs and don't need help on the artistic aspect of things (as of now), but i don't even know how to start on the business side. I saw things about blanks and wholesale sweatshirts and needing a tax ID for it. Where can i read up on how to obtain that and then find a supplier for them? How common is it for y'all to sew your own fabrics into garments? What are the pros and cons of this? Where can I find baby sweatshirt romper like this ?

I'd just love to read from reliable sources that will help me understand how to do this. Thank you guys so much. This subreddit is so wholesome and I'm excited to hear from everyone.
