Is selling vintage clothes legal?

Post Body
I found a website that sells vintage clothes with big brands, such as Nike, Gap, and Adidas. Itβs weird to me that big brands sell those clothes to a small business owner as a supplier since they are able to sell them themselves. I am totally new to this field so I might not be experienced enough to suspect this business activity. But is it legal? And can you really source them from big brands? Or the owner just ask manufacturer to copy those brands?
