Streamlabs virtual cam won't install

Hey, so i ve read about the virtual Webcam in streamlabs as a way to stream to discord. I ve also read about the recent problems with discord to archive this. My problem however is, that I can't even install the virtual Webcam. Means, I go to settings -> virtual Webcam, hit install, I need to give admin rights and after that the options menu stays the same as if I ve never installed it. I saw in videos that the menu should change, to start/stop the virtual cam. Has anyone the same problem or knows a solution?
