XLR or usb mic?

I'm planning to buy a mic, and I'm eyeing the Mackie EM91CU, it's the usb version. They have an XLR version called EM91C. I was hoping to ask whether I should get the xlr version rather than the usb version, but it's kind of expensive because I have to buy an interface for the xlr version whereas the usb version I just plug and play. Any experienced streamer have an opinion on this? Thanks.
