Need help. Help a dad out!

So my kid wants to start streaming but we aren’t sure what we all need. We have OBS. But we need some help. When we are watching streamers, they get a pop up saying who has subscribed or followed. How do you get that to pop up? Do I need anything special? Also what do we need to have either the chat on screen ? Anything else we need? Like I said, we have obs, we have a mic, we have the desktop and all that kinda shit. Just need the extra software/extra things. Thanks!
