Mic extremely quiet, picking up my voice but sounds like im very distant. Picks up me moving the mic around very loudly but can only hear speech at max volume of recording and still barely hear voice. Question

im not even sure if this is the right spot to post or if theres a better subreddit but my mic isnt working properly and i have no idea why or what to do to fix it :/

my mic picks up sound but id callit at about <10% of the volume im speaking into the mic at, however when i move the mic or the headset around it pick up that scratchyness very well, very loudly. The mic is fine as ive tried it on anothefr cpu and i use it regularly on my console.

i havent found any setting in my pc to tinker with and wouldnt really know what to do if i could.

any and all help will be appreciated, thank you!
