Post Body

Hi all, looking for feedback regarding my practice. Some quick background: I do only Shinzen-style practice and had a strong A&P event last June. Lots of changes/integration has occurred since though I'm not sure is relevant to my question, which is: Since the A&P I am unable to "focus" mindfulness like I could before. I also have a strong aversion to formal sits but have been forcing myself to sit anywhere between 15-40 min at least every other day. Been trying to sit everyday but haven't achieved that yet. When I do sit I just sit in awareness. My instinct tells me that there is nothing else do. Also, I do a lot more informal practice and Im also having a hard time focusing like I could before. Now, it seems awareness is inherent and just happens and when I try to be "mindful" like I was before the A&P, it feels like I'm working too hard. Any tips, suggestions? I suppose I should just be cool with it but it's so different than before I suppose I'd like some agreement if that's what I should do or perhaps someone knows something that could help. Any help appreciated. Xox
