There is lots of terminology in the awakening/spiritual space (unavoidable) but what I have been experiencing lately is many point to the same thing. Being/God/Divine Self/Buddha-nature...at certain points it gets a little confusing (especially when you throw multiple languages and translations into the mix)
I thought they were semantical differences, but not always. For instance, Eckhart Tolle makes a distinction between the Unmanifested (Nibbana) and love - love is what comes through that. I've always experienced God as absolute love, but I realize there are even more dimensions to that.
However, as I seek to not get lost in conceptual understanding, in my practice I realize that Zen was right - they are all fingers pointing to the moon. In the stream, all concepts - be in the Now, be in Being, quiet the mind etc merge at one point...where everyone is One, there is no separation.
At least that is what the experience is at the moment. The conceptual knowledge was helpful when the mind still comprehended difference. Now it's just everything is everything.
What I felt I have been guided to lately is a recognition that the light contains everything - love, compassion, excitement. Even fury and passion. They seem to come from a place beyond myself, even as the expression is in this human seeming. It's like realizing all of creation is in a single moment.
Another related practice which I'm going to concentrate on today is something I read about in Dean Radin's books...there is this awareness of the Void/Emptiness, which is outside of space and time and contains everything. By touching the infinite, we realize that the infinite is also present in everything.
I realize this all can sound rambly and woo-woo, but it's hard to talk about what is beyond words with...words :)
