Progress report + seeking insight into dependent origination

Post Body

I had another spiritual experience yesterday, more of the "being pulled forwards" feelings. The sense of no-self has stabilized now, there are just phenomena occuring. Awareness is awareness - no I, just awareness. The line between consciousness and phenomena blurs - consciousness is phenomena, and vice versa. (I'm now fairly certain it is anatta, but still deepening)

The difference after the experience was that I somehow can "feel" dependent origination happening. Previously I understood it intellectually, now it's becoming a living concept.

It's like awareness is at once eternal, and also always changing. I know that's the true nature of reality.

Feels a bit like the 8th jhana? Heeding the voice, I went back to practice my jhanas and I found I could get to the 8th, although the immersion was faint and not deep. I'm proficient at the first 4, the rest are coming along. (I have been able to access the jhanas since about ten years back when I first did intense meditation)

I guess where I am now is seeking to develop the insight of dependent origination more fully. I found the chariot sutra to be good for this. Any tips?

To those who have commented it seems like I'm going full-tilt here, I sort of am. I've been doing self-inquiry essentially all the time, meditation and daily life have sort of fused into one. I'm aware of the pitfalls of spiritual pride and ego, I hope I am not falling into any. I am just relating honestly what has been happening to me. (I still have a daily schedule, chores, groceries - chop wood, carry water.)

It sort of feels like my questions are answering themselves in a way. I have a strong sense that if I simply continue doing self-enquiry and being open to all experiences, I will get to where I want to be (which is of course paradoxically where I have always been)

Certain concepts like "time and distance are illusions" seem more real now...I have glimpses of how they could be actual lived reality.

As usual any advice or insights are appreciated.
