About to seriously start self-inquiry. Any tips/warnings?

Post Body

I've read up a lot about it, time to really dig down into the practice. I feel like now is the right time because the question "Who am I?" is really consuming me right now.

I know that each seeker's experience is different, reading about it is the finger pointing to the moon etc. I also understand that the mind is just asking about it to gain a conceptual framework but I'm asking lol.

I have some but not a lot of meditative practice under my belt, enough to seriously apply self-inquiry I believe. I am probably going to do while I go about my daily activities, and also during times I set aside.

I think I find that a gentle attitude works, but also with a pointed determination (samadhi)

I've gotten glimpses before, I believe that true awakening is possible. I can feel there is no "I" in that sense writing this. Now the glimpses are not enough. (I don't actually think I'm awakened because I am writing this post)

Appreciate any help!
