We have some chippies doing some renos for us at the moment and they seemed pretty taken aback when I asked if they wanted a cup a coffee ( I'm a cheap cunt so it was instant coffee, nothing flash here that those city-boy metrosexuals drink) and showed them where the bathroom and cold water in the fridge is.
They said they never get this offer and have to usually go to the local shops if they need a dump.
Is this pretty standard or do homeowners go out of their way to help you be comfortable? If some cunt is going to be putting effort in to making my house look good, I want them to be comfortable and feel like they want to do a good job so I find it surprising.
