Does anyone know what the difference is between the Treasure Chest and a regular chest? (I'm speaking about the craftable treasure chest you get a recipe for at draining level 9)

Does it have way more storage space or something? Or does it just look pretty? It's not exactly cheap, coming in at 50 gold ingot, 3 ruby, 3 sapphire, and 3 emerald. I just unlocked it and am having trouble finding information from the internets about it.

EDIT: Thanks for the answers, all! Since it has the same capacity as a regular chest, I shall NOT be wasting my resources on it at this time. The only reason I got draining level 9 so far before mining level 9 is because of the Ancient Lake -- passive level ups are awesome. lol.
